Not an orchestra. A movement.

More than an orchestra. A collision of worlds. Equal pay. An engine for Belgian music. A doorway for the next generation. We surprise. And we inspire.

01

The collective is greater than the individual.

No single name rises above the whole, not the guest artist, not the conductor. Equal pay across all 47 musicians isn't a gesture, it's the structure that makes the ensemble real.

02

Artists and songs like you've never heard them.

Every production is a reimagining of a guest artist's work. We don't make orchestral versions, we make real and new interpretations. Making the collaboration a genuine dialogue between two artistic worlds.

03

A loud stage for new talent.

Every production introduces at least one emerging artist, sharing our reach and our audience with a name that hasn't had it yet. The stage is too valuable to keep to ourselves.

04

Ambassadors for the craft.

We draw young people in with classical instruments, not necessarily classical music, and we connect with the amateur arts that feed our scene. Atomic is the first team, with younger ensembles coming up beneath it, the way a football club develops its own.

05

Belgian music first.

Radio’s play around 20% Belgian music. We do the opposite. Our programming puts Belgian musicians front and centre rather than treating them as the exception.

06

We take a deliberately contrary stance.

Bold, surprising, fiercely independent. We embrace the full breadth of what music can be and refuse to be boxed into genres, formats or expectations.

07

We choose broadly, but never carelessly.

From metal to pop to jazz, we refuse to play just one corner of the musical spectrum. What unites our choices is quality, not genre. Styled to feel current, but always built on substance.

08

The stage is a responsibility.

Every performance is a chance to widen the perspective of audience and scene alike, musically and culturally. We keep tickets affordable and offer social rates, so that background never decides who gets in, and who gets inspired. We play for every layer of society, not just the part that already buys concert tickets.
